goin' to the chapel . . . to get out of the rain!
After tons of planning, the wedding weekend finally came, whether we were ready or not.
The rehearsal at the Goliath Wall gave us a chance to interact with our natural surroundings.

At the rehearsal dinner Friday evening
The Heilmans and helpers provided lots of good food for Sabbath lunch and supper.
Moral support for setting up the reception at McDonald Rd. Church
One of the things you can't control is the weather. We woke up early to crazy thunderstorms. The rain forced us to move everything to Talge Hall Chapel (SAU's guys' dorm) for the ceremony. Meanwhile, knowing everything was under control, I got ready. . .
Lindsey - make up artist to the stars!
Getting ready in the dorm room
Lip gloss for Ella, the flower girl
Shoes . . . check!
Ryan and I met at noon to see each other by ourselves and take pictures together.
And some pictures alone

I love what you did with some of these pictures. The cropping and the black and white with the flowers. That is a great one of the flowers on the isle. Now that you are home and able to work with them I am sure that you are having a great time with your creativity. It was beautiful.

I enjoyed your commentary and selection of wedding weekend pictures. It sure was a fun weekend, in spite of the rain. Keep on posting. I'm enjoying the honeymoon pictures too - again!
Looks like it was an exciting day for you... and I'll bet it seemed over with far faster than you expected it would (especially after all that planning). One of my faves, I have to admit, was the ringneck snake - but that's only because I was trying to describe one to Mirka a couple days ago... and there it was on your blog! :)
