leaf monster
When I saw that the grounds crew (Michael and Bryce) had raked together a respectable amount of leaves, I grabbed Carson and Billy and headed out for the last minutes of daylight yesterday.

school spirit
This week was our fall SA Spirit Week. I think it's the first one I've attempted to try to dress up for every day. Back to normal clothes next week.

she's a walker!
Ryan and I got Tessa a little toy today that changes from one she can push to one she can ride.
She will take steps holding on to desks, legs, etc., so I figured she was ready for one of these. I decided this is how girls learn how to push a shopping cart. =) She only pushes to the right, so she runs into a lot of walls.
As you can see, she's very happy with her new title of "driver." Her short little legs can't both reach the floor at the same time. She peddled with all her might (the blurry legs), but went nowhere.

a birthday, a visit, & ravioli
Ryan and I went to Collegedale and Calhoun for the weekend to see family. My cousin Jason was coming for his first visit since moving to Prague in 2006. He brought Mirka and Zoe! We spent Sabbath down there with the family.

I made Grandma, Jeremy, and Aunt Tonda pose in the rain for a picture since they all matched so well. :)

Sunday was spent at McKay's (used books) before mom & dad headed back to NC. Then 7 of us went to the Olive Garden to make sure the food was still good.
waiting for a table
waiting for breadsticks and salad
right after I tried one of those peppers in the salad for the first time ever
and Marble Slab pumpkin ice cream for dessert!
