action-packed Christmas excitement
Ryan reading questions in Bible Baseball with our all-male faculty family
a Sabbath morning visitor just trying to stay warm
Ryan with our weekend visitors . . . Jaclyn & Stephanie!!!
the annual church Christmas cantata that our church, academy, and the local McKendree Methodist church perform
. . . and in the afternoon was our academy Christmas concert
Jaclyn took pictures for me, since I was up front.

Us with the tree right before they had to head back to C'dale. We had fun showing Stephanie around the Opryland Hotel on Saturday night and just all being together for the weekend.
This afternoon was the Boys' Club Christmas Banquet, which was golf-themed. After playing putt-putt golf and hitting balls at the driving range, they came to the Country Hills Golf Course for supper and pictures before heading to Opryland Hotel to see the Christmas water show.Ryan and I met them at the golf course so I could take their banquet shots.
Carson in his golf outfit, minus his hat. He had fun "helping" set up.

Anita came up with clever Christmas tree decorations for our photo background tree.
I found a CD at Dick's called "A Golfer's Christmas Carols" that had some interesting songs with golf lyrics set to traditional carol tunes that we played as background music.
table decorations - the golf course loaned us buckets of range balls
guys' costume contest
girls' costume contest
the winners! - Hayley, Matt, and Christen
Matt also won cash for shooting a 35 at putt-putt and getting the most holes-in-one in his round - five!
After the banquet, Ryan and I hit a couple of stores for a return and a little browsing. I found these cute little bird ornaments at Target!

What an original banquet theme and decorations! I bet the kids loved it. Your new living room arrangement is nice with the tree. And your new ornaments are right at home in your tree I bet.
