A little bit of culture shock after leaving NYC. The white barn in the background was a mile from the cannon below. The cannon could have shot to the barn. The cannons with rifling could shoot 1.5 miles.

Last time I saw these sites was on my senior class trip with MVA in 1970! You got thru there without your bus breaking down - lucky guys. I remember waiting by the road for another bus to come help move us on up the road.
